Hello there! I’m Dave, glad to meet you. I’m what you may call a “middle aged metalhead”. I have a few miles behind me, but I believe that I have a few more in front of me. I wish to share the musings that are floating around in my brain with you.

So what is this site all about? Basically this will be a place where I’ll go more in-depth on my Facebook postings. Many years ago B.F. (Before Facebook), I ran a blog. It was more of a webpage that I updated every so often. Then I installed an early build of WordPress and did it that way. But I took that down when I found that Facebook was going to be the social media destination of choice.

Fast forward to July 2016. I’ve been contemplating putting up another blog that would go more deeper than a simple Facebook posting. Something where I could write a mini novel, yet not take up an entire Facebook feed. So I figured I would create postings here and place links back on Facebook for those who really wanted to read them.

So what will I post on here? Primarily progressive and power album reviews, concert reviews, and concert photos. But, I will also use this place to post what’s on my mind. And with what’s going on in the world recently – a LOT is on my mind.

So sit tight, buckle your seat belt, make sure your tray table is stowed in the upright and locked position, and hold on for a ride! (grin)
